Fotomuseum aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht, the Netherlands, presents a major retrospective of the American documentary photographer Joseph Rodriguez from 21 September 2024 until 2 February 2025. The exhibition 'We're all people' shows 75 compelling photos of mostly marginalized groups of people and their struggles in everyday life. The images were taken in the 70s, 80s and 90s, mainly in New York City and Los Angeles.

She earned a Bachelors degree in Photography at RIT before moving to Massachusetts where she was a freelance photographer for daily newspapers and a wire service in the greater Boston area.

Panos Chatzistefanou: Offline
Within this project, women are portrayed within their homes and familiar spaces, in
everyday moments that often pass unnoticed. The photographic depiction of these
women showcases them not as abstract subjects but as protagonists of serene repose,
entrapped in the silence of simple moments. Each small scene (like an abrupt pause in
the everyday rhythm) transforms into a space where existence reacts and resonates,
revealing a conscious yet isolated world of thoughts.

In the enigmatic world of Noémie Goudal, the curvature of space becomes a philosophical tool, challenging our perceptions and inviting us to explore the nuanced realms of doubt and certainty. The new exhibition at Mostyn, “Contours of Certainty,” converges Goudal’s earlier works and introduces new pieces that delve into the intersections of space, viewpoint, and the ever-present spectre of doubt. It takes place from 13 July to 21 September 2024, with a press view on 12 July.
