Auburn is down a commitment, with 4-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle flipping his pledge to Georgia. From Cottage Hill Christian Academy (Ala.), Toodle had been committed to Auburn since last July at Big Cat Weekend. Georgia hosted him for an official visit the weekend of May 16-18 and he named the Bulldogs his leader then, despite being committed to Auburn. He returned to the Plains the weekend of June 13-15 for his Auburn official visit and said the Tigers reclaimed the top spot.

Auburn hosted nearly 50 official visitors this summer, bringing in a large majority of its top targets and getting those visits in before most of them make summer commitments. But with recruits now allowed unlimited official visits and schools also allowed unlimited official visits, there's still plenty of names out there who could take visits this fall.

Auburn is not hosting recruits during the final weekend before the dead period, but some other schools will have targets and Auburn commits on campus. VIPThings are quiet on the Plains this weekend, with Auburn following the same format as previous years under Hugh Freeze and not utilizing the final weekend of June before the dead period. There are no official visitors on Auburn's campus ahead of the June 23rd dead period. There are official visits going on at other schools, though.

VIPOfficial visit season is over for Auburn and most schools will wrap up official visits this final weekend of June. Then comes the dead period, which goes into effect on Monday, June 23rd and won't open back up again until the season starts. But it's far from a dead time in terms of news.
