As the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail Legue II settles into the middle portion of the 2025 spring season, the Salina Central, Eisenhower, and Andover teams are making their names known amongst the spring sports. Salina Central is currently tied with Andover for 2nd place in both baseball and softball while Eisenhower currently leads the way in baseball and soccer. The Mustang baseball team is currently tied for 2nd with Andover as the Mustangs have a 6-4, 3-1 record while the Trojans stand at 7-8, 3-1.

While the Heart of America Conference is like most high school leagues around the state of Kansas, settling into the midst of the 2025 spring season, the HOA is different in the sense that it is not completely separating itself as four different teams sit atop the standings in baseball and softball midway through the month of April. Saline County is making its mark in the 2025 spring season around the North Central Activities Association as Southeast of Saline High School and Sacred Heart High School are currently the top two teams in the NCAA baseball standings and they split with each other two 4-3 games on Monday. On the softball field, the Minneapolis Lady Lions currently lead the way with an 8-0, 8-0 record while Southeast of Saline is also undefeated in NCAA action with a 7-1, 4-0 record.
