Separation began in the 2025 spring Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League II as the season enters the final month of the season. The Eisenhower soccer and baseball teams are making their mark in their respective AVCTL II leagues while the Andover Lady Trojan softball team is leading the way in the AVCTL II softball standings with a 14-8, 8-0 record. The Eisenhower Lady Tiger soccer team leads the way with a 13-0-0, 4-0-0 record while Salina Central sits in 7th place with a 0-11-1, 0-4-0 record.

As the calendar turns to May 2025, the Heart of America Conference 2025 Spring standings are beginning to see some separation. The Bennington Lady Bulldogs currently lead the HOA softball standings with a 13-1, 9-1 record while Inman is in second place with a 9-1, 5-1 record. Ell-Salina’s softball team recorded its first victory of the season this past week, but the Lady Cardinals are still in 8th place in the HOA standings with a 1-9, 0-6 record.

As the calendar turns to May of 2025 there is some separation beginning to occur in the different standings in the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League I’s Spring campaigns. The Maize South Lady Mavericks softball team currently leads the AVCTL I softball standings with a 20-0, 8-0 record while Salina South currently sits in 3rd place with a 16-5, 7-3 record.

The Lady Mustang softball team is in 2nd place, behind Andover High. Andover leads the way with a 10-6. 4-0 record while the Lady Mustangs are in 2nd with an 11-3, 5-1 record.

The Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League I has settled into the midst of the 2025 spring seasons with Salina South, Derby, Hutchinson and Maize South making their names for themselves in different and multiple sports. The AVCTL I saw its first intra-league soccer matches on Tuesday with Salina South, Derby and Hutchinson all emerging with AVCTL I victories to sit atop the league midway through the season.

Spring Break is now in the rearview mirror for the North Central Activities Association’s 2025 spring season as the teams prepare themselves for the home stretch and look for strength as postseason play looms in May. As the NCAA settles into the 2025 spring campaign, the Minneapolis Lady Lion softball team is the lone NCAA baseball or softball team still protecting an undefeated record as the Lady Lions lead the NCAA softball standings with an 8-0, 8-0 record.
