Two low pressure systems moving through the region will bring more clouds and rain chances both days of the weekend. After starting with sunshine - many had an amazing sunrise! - clouds will win out this afternoon. Scattered rain develops this evening with more widespread rain into the late-night, especially near the bay region and southward. A few rumbles of thunder are possible.

With the remnants of Helene to the south of us, we'll see more clouds and the chance for spotty showers southward today. North of the bay you'll see more bright sunshine. This will help to divide temperatures - further north you'll find more mid 70s to near 80 degree highs, while further south afternoon temps will be in the low to mid 70s. Winds will be out of the NE today at 10-15mph, gusting into the 20s during the afternoon.
