PHOTO PROVIDED Melissa Baker initially was planning to put her 12-foot skeleton in the garage when the ceiling was complete for storage before next Halloween. After receiving a threatening anonymous letter in the mail against the skeleton followed by an outpouring of support for the Halloween decoration, she decided to dress up “Skelly Bones” for Valentine’s Day and will continue decorating him for holidays year-round.

Jared’s Golden Heart is a 501c3 nonprofit which helps children who are fighting cancer and their families at local hospitals.
