These are also required to complete the main quests, where you will find yourself in more than a few fights. Some of these battles will be with strong bosses that are from Level 45 and higher.

Mad Horiguchi is a member of Slur's gang with impressive abilities like using electrodes and a strength-enhancing drug. Introduced in the Lab Arc, Mad Horiguchi manipulates Shin and Sakamoto but is ultimately defeated. The electrodes scramble speech and control, while the drug boosts strength temporarily in a battle against Sakamoto Days characters. There are many antagonists that appear in Sakamoto Days, and sometimes, even those with a smaller role make a lasting impression.

One of these locations that isn't required is Fort Gardhart, which is found in the West Greatgut Plains.
