The feedback has been, uh, interesting. 😂 Some additional context is that my friend already has some variable annuities sold to her by the same advisor. So his track record of embracing opacity and commissions is alive and well.

I just heard from a friend whose advisor is recommending structured notes to defend against the uncertainty. Watch for it: Fear helps sell complicated gobbledygook.
