ESPN released a final NBA Draft board days before the official NBA Draft. Former UConn men's basketball star Liam McNeeley and former Yale player Danny Wolf both ranked in the top 25. McNeeley has fallen from a late lottery to pick to 17th overall, as predicted by ESPN. If the 6-foot-6 small forward is selected with the No. 17 pick, he would be going to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who received the pick from the Detroit Pistons (via New York, Oklahoma City, and Houston).

Daigneault led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 103-91 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 7 of the NBA Finals as OKC secured its first NBA Title. Long before Daigneault was coaching Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, he was helping Jim Calhoun at UConn. The Massachusetts native attended UConn from 2003 to 2007.
