A change from firm favourites such as Aladdin or Cinderella, I was intrigued to see this, as in all my years of watching this great British tradition, I have never seen Pinocchio.

Sadly, an unscheduled pit stop earlier in July forced theatre-goers to wait until the show could be rescheduled to September, but now there is a throng of excitement as we approach the theatre, everyone eager to see this much-awaited show. Ian Fleming’s beloved children’s story, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, is a firm family favourite.

By Christine Goode, August 2024McFly returned to The Piece Hall in Halifax to play a second sell-out show. Their fans (Galaxy Defenders) of all ages were out in force to see the award-winning, chart-topping rockers. We arrived just in time to see the support act, pop-punk artist NOAHFINNCE, who certainly had the crowd’s attention. No doubt, he will now acquire more followers after a very energetic performance — definitely one to watch in the future.

By Christine Goode, August 2024Avid musical theatre fans have eagerly awaited Disney’s Aladdin to tour local theatres, and now, finally, our wish has been granted. I had the pleasure of seeing it at Bradford Alhambra, and it not only lived up to but also surpassed all my expectations. Hundreds of enthusiastic Disney fans of all ages flocked to this wonderful venue, excitement was high, and we couldn’t wait to get to our seats.
