Anthony Albanese is the Raygun of Australian politics. He pulled out all the right moves to get the call up for national duty, looks pretty snazzy in the green and gold tracksuit, but can’t quite nail the routine on the big stage. Our iconic B-girl is all bunny ears, kangaroo hops and body drops. DJ Albo is all talk, Labor chops and policy flops. Naturally, Albanese is a fan of our unlikely Olympics breakout star.

Shocking footage has emerged showing former Australian treasurer Peter Costello shirt-fronting a journalist at Canberra Airport. Mr Costello, the chairman of Nine Entertainment, was being asked questions about the future of Nine CEO Mike Sneesby by The Australian’s Liam Mendes when the scuffle was caught on camera. Mr Costello was filmed aggressively shirt-fronting the young reporter who fell to the ground as a result.
