It also agreed to sell a Japanese utility 1 million tpy of offtake and signed an HoA with a German utility for offtake of another 1 million tpy.     Project Greensand’s first CO2 carrier completes hull constructionThe vessel was specifically designed to transport liquefied CO₂ from onshore capture sites to offshore storage in the Danish part of the North Sea. Project Greensand marine contractor Wagenborg Offshore Operations BV has completed hull construction of the 8-million tonne/year (tpy) carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project’s first CO2 carrier. The work was carried out by Royal Niestern Sander shipyard in the Netherlands.

    South Dakota’s Public Utility Commission has denied Summit Carbon Solutions (SCS) LLC’s route permit application for its 18-million tonne/year Midwest Carbon Express carbon capture and sequestration pipeline project in the US Midwest, voting 2-1 against it. The move followed a bill signed into law last month by South Dakota Gov.

    GAIL (India) Ltd. has completed laying more than 97.6 % of its Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra natural gas pipeline (JHBDPL) network, delivering gas to eastern and northeastern parts of India. Commercial operations are under way on 96.6% of the line, including sections connecting Phulpur-Dobhi-Bokaro-Durgapur, Bokaro-Angul-Dhamra, and Dobhi-Barauni-Guwahati.
