A few months ago, I watched a video of unique and exciting restaurants in Seoul. Several looked interesting, but the one that caught my eye was Kyochon Pilbang, a high-end Korean fried chicken restaurant.
What makes this chicken joint special is that it is hidden in plain sight.

A Victoria man, Miguel Lamas, 47, was arrested on charges of indecency with a child, sexual contact and continuous sex abuse of a child under 14. On Sept. 11, authorities with the Victoria County Sheriff's Office were informed that Lamas, who had warrants for the sex crimes, was at a residence on Glass Street. Tropical Storm Francine is moving to the northern and northeastern parts of the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to strengthen into a hurricane. Francine's trajectory has moved toward the Louisiana Coast, according to the National Weather Service. Tropical Storm watches remain in effect for the Coastal Bend with Tropical Storm warnings for the Middle Texas Coastal waters. Francine is expected to turn further to the northeast later Tuesday, with an increase in its forward speed.

A section of Crestwood Drive that was closed for construction has officially reopened in the area between Main Street and Navarro, according to a news release from the city of Victoria. The new road comes complete with durable concrete paving, new utilities and ADA compliant sidewalks. The city is working on 14 more road construction projects for the fiscal year of 2024.
