During a Teen Summit hosted by Teens Grounded and Mid Coast Family Services at the Victoria College Emerging Technology Complex, John Hill—also known as Holy Gabbana and formerly of Boonk Gang—spoke to local youth about his transformation from a life of crime and wild antics to spreading the message of God. Hill began his speech speaking about how he desired fame and success at a young age. “Growing up, I wanted to be either a drug dealer, a professional athlete or somebody famous,” Hill said.

Victoria County Animal Services is seeking more volunteers to help with daily operations. To bring in more volunteers the department is planning to host a community event to educate potential volunteers about what they could expect to be doing if they decide to give their time to animal services. The department has not yet set a date for the event.
