Just watched “Spider-Man” with Tobias McGillicuddy or whatever his name is and I’m reminded of my original disappointment. Why doesn’t Spider-Man shoot webs out of his butt like a real spider? It’s just not realistic.

I’m writing a novel titled “Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb.” It’s the story of a scientist who creates a formula that transforms him into a monstrous creature and has a spicy, cherry flavor. Then the Coca Cola company comes up with a similar formula, and he can’t decide which is better.

Decided to give my kids random nicknames. Aidan is now "Booger" and Jeremy is "Deuce." They don't seem too receptive to the idea.
