(December 18, 2024) – The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Officer Thomas Griffiths of the Harwich (MA) Police Department as their Officer of the Month for November 2024. Officer Griffiths was selected for his actions when he rescued a teenage girl who became trapped in the backseat of a vehicle that caught fire after crashing into a tree.

Washington, DC., July 9, 2024 – The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) has received $100,000 from Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, and the Tractor Supply Company Foundation. The donation comes as part of the retailer’s launch of its Hometown Heroes program and its $1 million donation to charity organizations supporting our nation’s military service members, veterans and first responders.

(June 3, 2024) – The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) today announced Officer Adam Semchee of the Akron (OH) Police Department as their Officer of the Month for March 2024. Officer Semchee was selected for his swift actions in locating and rescuing a two-year-old boy following a carjacking incident. On March 1, 2024, Akron police officers responded to an Amber Alert issued shortly after 3 p.m. regarding a stolen pickup truck with a sleeping child inside.
