This time last year Claire was contacted out of the blue, by her Australian cousin, Ben, who messaged asking if she wanted to be part of an English Channel relay team - Channel Attack 2023. "Hell no!" was her first response, but very quickly she changed her mind and grabbed the exciting opportunity. "I remembered I was soon to be 50, and if I didn't do it now, when would I have the chance again?" says Claire.
