The Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues won't be the only teams playing on the ice at Wrigley Field. The Big Ten announced four marquee matchups that will be played at the Friendly Confines after the Winter Classic. The Frozen Confines will feature three Big Ten men's games, as well as a Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) women's game with two games on both January 3 and 4, 2025.

Gabby Williams, an American-French basketball player, just finished competing for Team France in her second Olympic games. France won silver, falling in the gold medal match to Team USA 67-66. After the game, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese took to social media to ask Williams to return to the WNBA and join her on the Sky. Williams, who was drafted fourth overall by the Sky in 2018, fired back, suggesting she would love to play with Reese but not in the WNBA.

Chicago White Sox pitching prospect Ky Bush will make his MLB debut tonight as the team begins a three-game series against the Oakland Athletics. Bush was acquired at the deadline last year in the Lucas Giolito trade, and was called up by the Sox in a series of roster moves on Monday. Pitcher Dominic Leone was also activated from the 60-day injured list and was added to the team's active roster. Pitchers Prelander Berroa and Sammy Peralta were both optioned to Triple-A Charlotte.

As the the medal count tallies up for Team USA, many see athletes on the podium and wonder: what's in that gold box they are holding? Jessica Fox, who competed in Canoe Slalom for Australia, recently took to her social media accounts to reveal what's inside the mysterious, rectangular box given to 2024 Olympics athletes who medal. In her video, Fox unboxes an official an athlete edition of the official 2024 Olympics poster. "Usually, we get the mascot or flowers," Fox said in the video.
