Authorities are investigating after a person fell to their death Thursday in downtown Boston, police said. Around 7 a.m., State Police received “reports of an individual falling from an unspecified height” at 10 Park Plaza, a spokesperson said. The building is just south of Boston Common and houses multiple offices, including the state’s transportation department.

A Goodwill store in Augusta, Maine, was evacuated Tuesday after staff realized a box full of donations contained a grenade. Around 11 a.m., police responded to a report of “a suspicious box” at the Goodwill off Interstate 95, the Augusta Police Department said in a press release. “A box containing possible military grenades and/or mortars was discovered amongst the donated items,” the press release says.
