    Voters hit the polls on Saturday to decide the Dallas City Council seats with nearly 50 candidates running. Local polls closed at 7 p.m. on Saturday. According to the unofficial totals from the Dallas County Elections Department, out of 1.4 million Dallas registered voters, 117,577 votes were cast. In District 14, incumbent Paul Ridley ran unopposed.
