Git repositories allow for a robust system for backup and version history so that there’s a seamless integration of contributions from multiple developers. But by their very nature they are not static and therefore can degrade in quality over time.

Today I’ll dive into the sales, implementation, source code migration and onboarding process that customers typically go through when they migrate their Perforce, Subversion or Git repositories to Assembla. These instructions apply to our managed hosting solution.
