    AbstractContext Cancer therapy remains a challenge in healthcare, particularly in the context of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), where targeted therapies are still scarce. Objective Addressing this issue, our study explores a novel targeting approach using small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) isolated from cow milk, functionalized with hyaluronic acid (HA) to target the overexpressed cluster of differentiation 44 (CD44) cell surface receptor in TNBC cells.

    Cell Viability and Uptake Assays Afterward, the thermally evaporated nanodiscs were released from the Si substrate by a wet chemical etching of the Al sacrificial layer. This step was performed using a 15% KOH solution in an ultrasound bath. The nanostructures released in this process were gathered using a magnet. For each Si template, this procedure was repeated multiple times to minimize the loss of nanodiscs.
