Lancaster senior Madison Francis was named the all-state Class AAA Player of the Year by the New York State Sportswriters Association on Thursday. Large schools are programs in classes AAA, AA and A. Francis, a 6-foot-2 wing, led the Legends to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association state semifinals. She averaged 32.6 points per game and is a Mississippi State signee. Cardinal O'Hara senior Kyla Hayes was named to the Class AAA first team.
