Officers responded on Wednesday to the 200 block of NW 27th regarding a burglary in progress. A neighbor caught a white male dressed in black in the area of a residence. The suspect, later identified as Gerald Russell Bridgers, 39, had no valid reason for being on the property and, upon being confronted by a neighbor, eventually left the area. Officers located Bridgers in the area and ordered him to stop.
