The Keystone oil pipeline ruptured Tuesday morning in North Dakota, with the spill confined to an agricultural field. The eruption happened near Fort Ransom, North Dakota, around 7:44 am. No people or structures were affected by the spill, he said. A nearby stream that only flows during part of the year was not impacted but was blocked off and isolated as a precaution. The Keystone pipeline runs through Texas, crossing TX 37 between Mt. Vernon and Winnsboro.

GiveSendGo has collected nearly $250,000 for the high school student accused of fatally stabbing another teen at a track meet. Frisco Police is accusing Karmelo Anthony, 17, of killing Austin Metcalf at a track meet on April 2 at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco. Anthony was arrested and charged with murder. The 17-year-old’s fundraiser says they have wrongfully charged him with murder.

Officers received a call on Monday about a disturbance in the 400 block of 4th SW. They met an 18-year-old female victim who advised another family member, a 32-year-old male, had struck her on the arm with a hammer. Paris EMS attended to the victim. The suspect had already left the scene. Officers spoke with the victim and other family members. This incident is associated with an earlier alleged incident of sexual misbehavior at the same address earlier this week.
