    PITTSBURGH (BVM) - Papa Amadou Kante has entered the transfer portal after two years at Pittsburgh . Kante, a native of Senegal, moved to the United States in 2019 and emerged as a four-star, top-100 recruit in the Class of 2023 at South Kent High School in Connecticut. The 6-foot-10, 235-pound center missed his first season at Pitt after suffering a knee injury in September 2023. Kante returned to the floor this season, seeing limited playing time.

    TEMPE, Ariz. (BVM) - Arizona State freshman forward Amier Ali has entered the transfer portal after one season with the Sun Devils. Ali was a four-star prospect and ranked in the top 100 nationally in the Class of 2024 coming out of high school. In his lone season with the Sun Devils, he averaged 5.5 points and 3.1 rebounds, playing 19 minutes per game while starting four contests.
