ABC issues first medical marijuana permit revocationCole [email protected] 5/7/24The Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Division (ABC) announced Thursday the revocation of the dispensary license for Green Springs Medical Dispensary in Hot Springs. This is the first revocation issued since the Arkansas medical marijuana industry launched in mid-2019.

According to a release from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Freddy Penka of Pinkston Middle School in Mountain Home has been named the 2024 Educator of the Year by Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation. He was presented with this award at OTF’s annual benefit concert April 25 in Dallas, Texas.

Figures released by the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission indicate $44.8 million was spent by patients on medical marijuana purchases in February and March. Patients spent $22.1 million in February to purchase 5,612 pounds. Sales increased in March to $22.7 million and 6,069 pounds.
