From the first teaser trailer to the screenshots, the game’s description to its gameplay teasers, Sinfeld: Evil Resident is a wild ride. Chocked-full of jump scares, beat-em-up action, hidden gems and secrets throughout, and a whole lot of references to a beloved sitcom that I won’t name, Sinfeld: Evil Resident is one of the more surprising releases of 2025. What would you do if your faith was put to the ultimate test? That is the question that Sister Barnes (Sophie Thatcher) and Sister Paxton (Chloe East), two young Mormon Missionaries, are challenged with in Heretic when they meet the seemingly harmless Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant), an older gentleman who, at first glance, is seemingly only interested in getting more information about the Mormon church.
