    This post was originally given as a talk at Biola University. The starting point for any discussion of Christianity and politics is to understand the centrality of truth in Christianity. Jesus, in the gospels, says he is the truth. And that is only the most striking of the truth claims Christianity makes, a comprehensive list of which would be far beyond the scope of this short talk.

    Friday, July 26th, I, along with hundreds of millions of Christians around the world, sat down to watch the 2024 Olympic Opening Ceremonies.
