On Crane Road, this past Friday at around 10 pm, two men in a two-tone Jeep can be seen on security camera footage ripping off a Pride flag and snapping a Black Lives Matter sign in two before taking off. DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) — 18-year-old Jenna Abdallah is a Wayne State student working part-time at District 12, a burger hotspot in Dearborn, the Michigan city that Jenna is proud to be born and raised in. "It's the best community ever. It's like you walk anywhere; I feel so safe. It's crazy because I was asking myself the other day, do I really want to move out of Dearborn?" said Abdallah. Police in metro Detroit are issuing a new warning when using Facebook Marketplace to buy or sell items. Over the last few days alone, police have responded to two separate incidents. One ended in a man being shot while trying to buy a PlayStation 5. "He was like, 'I've been shot. Can you please help?'" said Kay, a handywoman. This past Saturday around 9:30 p.m., a 37-year-old man from Dearborn Heights was shot twice on the 7300 block of Greenview near Warren Avenue on Detroit's west side.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — This spring adults and teens with special needs in Clinton Township will be able to play baseball on a field designed specifically for them. For years, the Clinton Valley Little League has hosted the senior challenger program. The baseball program is for people over age 16 with special needs who want to play. Wednesday, community leaders and board members with CVLL gathered in Neil Reid Park on Harper Avenue to break ground on the new adaptive park.

ROCHESTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — There were new traditions for a 50-year celebration as Downtown Rochester is now illuminated with lights, 1.5 million to be exact. “The first time you see them everywhere it's like ‘Wow, I forgot how awesome it is,” said Elise Langlois. For 50 years, the City of Rochester has hosted the Big, Bright Light show. However, for the first time, Main Street (Rochester Road) was closed to traffic. As lights lit up the street, fireworks lit up the sky.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — According to AAA, 1.7 million Michiganders are expected to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday. Some people will be taking flights to their destinations and others will be packing up their cars and hitting the road. “I’m thinking about going up north,” said Dehondre Mosley, Farmington Hills resident. “I’m not sure where up north just yet." AAA expects 1.5 million Michigan residents will be on the road traveling for the holiday.
