Wow thanks so much. When I was getting ready for college applications, I studied wild hours for college entry exams. It was a struggle. And now, it's graduation season so many students are headed off to college in the fall. Some students are about to spend the summer studying for those exams so they too can go off to college soon. Blame An Iowa ProfessorOne of the most infamous college entry exams is the ACT, and was first administered in 1959.

Bettendorf won't go another year without a community pool. The Landing project continues in Bettendorf. Late last year, their new outdoor ice rink made it's debut. Now, in the former Splash Landing location, YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley has announced it's new waterpark is going to open soon at 2255 Middle Road.

Sometimes, quality matters. Visiting public bathrooms can be an experience, to say the least. We've all walked into bathrooms somewhere that give us the ick, whether it's the 1-ply toilet paper or suspicious stuff on the floor. Similarly, we've gone into bathrooms that feel too fancy for us to be in there. Those are the ones that even have attendants. Having a tidy public bathroom is a huge flex for a gas station or travel stop and an Illinois stop has one of the best.

Mountain Dew, Froot Loops, it's all gonna be different. We've all gone to the grocery store hungry or in a snacky mood and pick up something that probably wasn't on our list. Because our souls need those cookies or chips, right? Earlier this week, the FDA announced plans to "phase out" some dyes that are currently allowed in foods. It's part of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s plan to "Make America Healthy Again".
