After moving to a 12-team College Football Playoff field for the first time this past season, it sounds like there's a desire for more teams to be involved moving forward. According to a report from On3, the idea of a 16-team College Football Playoff is "gaining support" and it would feature an interesting structure of four SEC teams, four Big Ten teams, two Big 12 teams, and two ACC teams to go along with one Group of Six team and three at-large bids.

The Tigers had a successful spring with some newcomers (Tristan Smith) standing out and the usual suspects performing well and staying healthy.
