Former LSU RB John Emery Jr. is looking for a new opportunity to play college football in 2025. On March 20th, Emery announced on social media via his agency that he would be returning to college football for a final season. The 2025 season will be Year 7 of his career. After Emery’s announcement, Tigers coach Brian Kelly was asked about the running back’s status with the program. Kelly said he wished Emery well, but noted that LSU was already set at running back for 2025.
