Throughout the late 2000s, Gus Hansen pioneered a loose-aggressive playing style that set him apart from his opponents and influenced a new generation of maniacal, bluff-happy poker players. The Great Dane is back in true form at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) and made Day 3 of the $10,000 Dealers Choice 6-Handed Championship with 14 players remaining.

Six years ago, Yosef Fox watched from the rail as his son Jorden Fox won a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet. The roles reversed on Wednesday as Jorden watched his dad win a bracelet of his own by taking down Event #11: $10,000 Mystery Bounty at the 2025 WSOP for $729,333. The latest World Poker Tour (WPT) champion was crowned last week in Las Vegas as Nebraska's Mike Vanier took down the WPT Choctaw Championship for $338,000, just two years after finished third in this same event. The $3,500 event drew 586 runners for a prize pool of $2,051,000 that squeaked past the $2 million guarantee. The first three days of the event played out at Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma. Action then paused before picking back up at the Esports Arena Las Vegas at Luxor.
