Dear Diary … On waking this morning, I contemplated what I could do today to disrupt the world order. Encouragingly, I don’t need anybody’s approval as they all love me. All my little rescue puppies sit up and beg for more. Nobody has seen anything like it!Dear Diary : What to bomb next? Decisions, decisions. My staff are off to pressgang another 100000 troops into action. Big welcome today for foreign fighters. All in all, a worthy day. Gives my life meaning. By the way, they attacked me first.

It lasts 40 days according to its biblical history, and is adhered to by many Christian faithful who follow its liturgical principles.

I have difficulty reconciling my mind to the whole idea of “basic human rights”, (BHR) as distinguished from “customer rights”. BHR are costly and accordingly must be paid for, so consequently we all pick up the bill. There are very few rights that are free. In reality therefore, we are in this context, paying customers, and as such, we harbour expectations that, if not met, dissatisfaction and anger ensue.

“The foolish mouth.” On considering this unusual title, I reflected on that orifice which has the awesome power to make or break a person on many levels. Consider for a moment what so many of us fill our “gobs” with, which we do as if force-feeding a goose. Items masquerading as food are stuffed in with gay abandon in order to satiate the cravings of the gut, which incidentally is connected directly to the brain.
