Tennessee football secured its first commitment in the 2027 class, and it didn't have to look far. West linebacker JP Peace announced his commitment to the Vols on social media on June 16. Peace is the grandson of former Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer and son of Robert Peace who was a linebacker for the Vols from 2000-03. Sue Bird, Sylvia Fowles, Cappie Pondexter, and Alana Beard were inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony took place in Knoxville, Tennessee, and also honored coach Lucille Kyvallos, coach Mark Campbell and executive Danielle Donehew. As the WNBA enters another season in an era of remarkable growth and popularity, it was only fitting that four of the league's greats were part of the 2025 class of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
