Do you remember when you first learned to ride a bike? I sure do. It felt shaky, awkward, and a little scary at first. But then, something clicked, and WHOOOSH! I was off! Nothing rivaled that feeling of freedom, the wind in my hair, and the power and means to go wherever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Learning to write books for children has been a similar trajectory for me, and I owe so much of that to my guest today, Vivian Kirkfield.
