We need to see “Big Game James.” And we need to see it in the College Football Playoff. James Franklin, who has spent his Penn State tenure beating the teams he’s supposed to beat while losing most of the biggest games, needs at least one playoff win this year for the season to be considered a success. Simply making the playoff won’t be enough. Why?

As stupid as it sounds, maybe Pirates should trade Skenes right now. Can you imagine haul they’d get in return for young superstar? Maybe 3-4 everyday players (not prospects) and 1-2 pitchers. Hell, they can’t with him (lost 6 of his 9 starts). Could remake team trading one guy.

The Pirates can’t even win with Paul Skenes on the mound. He’s now 3-4, and the Pirates have lost five of the eight games he’s started this season. Despite having a 2.77 ERA. It takes a very special team to absolutely suck to the point where you’re wasting a generational talent.
