Do yourself a favor, and heed my mom’s advice: Buy your poinsettias from Costco. Going to a wholesale warehouse for one celebration may sound like overkill, but the true Costco fans know that there are plenty of one-off items that are too good to pass up. (Although let’s be real, Christmas is a monthlong celebration, if not longer, depending on who you ask.) I’ve heard rave reviews of the 5-lb. pies and take-and-bake casseroles and side dishes.
