From a design standpoint, the Manhattan 37 Ultra Thin draws a direct line to watches like the Vacheron Constantin 2215. Not just in size, though the 37mm case is nearly identical, but in attitude. The entire watch feels like it was built with restraint in mind. The 47.4mm lug-to-lug length keeps it compact on the wrist, and at just 7.1mm thick, it disappears under a cuff. But it doesn’t feel delicate or dressy in the traditional sense. It feels sharp. Purposeful. Confident.

Ever since the launch of Wren Watches, I wanted to create the perfect dive watch. And while the Diver One is a great watch, I wanted to take it a step further. The Diver 38 Seafoam is that step. It is the most refined, wearable, and complete watch I have made so far. It is available now for preorder at $1,595, with both date and no-date versions offered.

The anodization gives the dial a deep black tone with a soft sheen and excellent resistance to corrosion. The Arabic numerals and minute track are printed in beige Super-LumiNova that glows green in the dark. The layout is clean and functional: a large 15-minute “big eye” counter at 3 o’clock and a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock. There’s no date window, and that decision changes everything.

The case has two crowns. One at 4 o’clock for setting the time and date, and another at 2 o’clock for controlling the inner rotating bezel. The crown action is smooth, and both screw down securely. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters, which is enough, but not exactly deep... The internal bezel uses the same angular, retro-styled font as the vintage model. This is one of those rare cases where a callback doesn’t feel forced.

Holding it for the first time, you immediately notice its presence. Solid 18-karat white gold isn't just luxurious—it's substantial (and heavy!). At 44mm, this isn't a shy piece. But interestingly, Jacob & Co. has managed to keep it relatively balanced on the wrist. It doesn't feel overwhelming or excessively bulky. There's a comfort to it that I honestly didn’t expect. Now let’s get into the most noticeable part of the Casino Tourbillon - the roulette wheel dial.
