Today had a letter where the writer argued against red-light cameras. He argued that drivers don't know where to stop at a red light. If you are seriously unable know if you're running a red light, you shouldn't be driving. I daily see people blow through red lights. This kills people. On December 3, 2024, a federal district court in the Eastern District of Texas1 issued an order granting a nationwide preliminary injunction that: (1) enjoins (or halts) the enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) and the regulations implementing its information reporting requirements, and, specifically, (2) stays (or pauses) all deadlines to comply with the CTA's reporting requirements. The Department of Justice filed a Notice of Appeal on December 5, 2024.
