Margherita Muzzillo followed up her MSc Agriculture and Food Economics with a traineeship at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission, as well as studying for a PhD. Of this dual role, she said: “The two really interact with each other. I can get inspiration from my research for my work at the Commission and vice versa.” It’s a natural evolution for someone who has been passionate about food and cooking since she was a child.
