The Canes rallied to win 9-6 in Game Two of the Louisville Super Regional on Saturday morning and set up a decisive Game Three on Sunday. Griffin Hugus drew the start, but it was a rough one, as he was chased in the third down 4-1, the majority coming on the strength of a Louisville 3-run homer. However, that’s when the game flipped on its head.

The Miami Hurricanes dropped the opener in their Super Regional at Louisville 8-1 in a game that was over quickly. Miami got through a 1st inning that saw the Cardinals hit the ball hard off of Miami starter AJ Cisnar, but score no runs. Miami loaded the bases with one out in the second, but strikeout-strikeout ended that with no runs.

Miami dispatched with Southern Miss on Monday night 5-4, withstanding a late charge by the Golden Eagles in the bottom of the ninth to secure the win.
