Rolls-Royce has announced that a key milestone, and world industry first, has been achieved in its hydrogen research project. Working with easyJet, Loughborough University in the UK and the German Aerospace Centre Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt (DLR), tests on a full annular combustor of a Pearl 700 engine at DLR in Cologne running on 100 per cent hydrogen have proven the fuel can be combusted at conditions that represent maximum take-off thrust.

The Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) new engine shop at the Orly platform is the centrepiece of the Single Roof project initiated in 2019. The ultra-modern, 4,200 square-metres facility is equipped with cutting-edge industrial resources and will help to reduce engine processing times by 15 per cent. Single Roof is a major project for the future of AFI KLM E&M’s Engine maintenance product, and its goals are both industrial and organisational in nature.

As part of a pilot scheme, Cathay Cargo is placing its rates and availability in Kuehne+Nagel’s booking engine, enabling users to access space, rates, and secure instant confirmation from its inventory. This two-phase application programming interface (API) pilot scheme with Kuehne+Nagel in the Americas and latterly in Europe, marks the first time that Cathay Cargo has enabled booking functionality to be accessed from a freight forwarder’s host system.

Gore presidential election cases in Florida in 2000, I think it’s time to point out something about televising the coming trials of Donald Trump. Some say it shouldn’t be done because it will be disruptive. I say that’s nonsense. Broadcasts and livestreams of all types of court cases have been done countless times for several decades now, using tried-and-true methods.

This is the third edition of the programme and it will offer 50 scholarships to generate opportunities and professional inclusion.
