A swimmer's body has been found in a Central Texas lake after he went missing in the water on Easter Sunday. The Austin-Travis County Emergency Services (ATCEMS) posted on X there were reports of an adult swimmer who had not resurfaced at Emma Long Metropolitan Park. Around 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, the Austin Police Department said it responded to a check welfare hotshot call at 1600 City Park Road. According to APD, the call was for a person drowning in Lake Austin near Emma Long Metro Park.
