A few weeks back, one-time Star Wars producer Rick McCallum made headlines when he shed a (teensy) bit more light on one of the franchise’s great unmade projects, Star Wars: Underworld. Announced in 2005, the live-action TV series was how Star Wars architect George Lucas planned to keep his space opera creation going post-prequels and would (as its name suggests) have delved into the seedy underbelly of a galaxy far, far away.

Comic book scheduling is increasingly tricky to keep track of (and it’s not just me saying it). Even so, we still have a pretty decent idea of what’s headed our way over the next 12 months – and it’s an impressive mix of new and returning ongoings, limited series, and graphic novels across a range of genres. The following is a transcript of our YouTube video celebrating the 1oth anniversary of The New Order, which you can check out above or on our channel. Today marks 10 years since Wolfenstein: The New Order first exploded onto consoles and PC. Not a lot has happened since then. Yeah, been a quiet one hasn’t it. But what’s quietest of all? The scene for FPS games similar to it, so much so that it’s basically the last of its kind. You’re probably wondering what I mean here.

SCRIPT/VO: Will MasonEDITING: Djordje NikolicFrom 90s bad taste gaming aimed at blood hungry gamers, to a complex and critical satire of American culture, Grand Theft Auto has become renowned as a controversial gaming icon. Though now one of the biggest franchises ever, it wasn’t always this way, and it was a long and controversy filled road for GTA to travel.
