These two teams have formed a heated rivalry over the past few seasons, and this game was no exception, with a heated battle coming down to the final minutes of play. Despite an early lead for the Eagles, NU rallied back from a five-goal deficit and claimed the win over BC, 12-11.

It’s been an incredible feat of consistency, and the Eagles are primed to defend their 2024 national title, this time on home turf at Gillette Stadium. The Eagles fought through a close first half, but pulled away by the end and defeated Yale, 18-11. Coming into the game, the Eagles didn’t look like their dominant selves. They struggled to win draw controls against Stony Brook on Sunday and those struggles continued on Thursday.

    Jeffrey Camarati-Imagn Images On Sunday afternoon, the Boston College women’s lacrosse team hosted the Stony Brook Seawolves for the second round of the 2025 NCAA tournament. After BC received a first-round bye and Stony Brook defeated Loyola Maryland earlier in the weekend, the two teams faced off at Alumni Stadium on a beautiful Mother’s Day afternoon. The Eagles had some difficulties but eventually handled the Seawolves, emerging from the contest with a 10-7 win.
