It didn’t matter to Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick that the SAVE Act is “a direct attack on the fundamental right to vote and a dangerous step backward for our democracy,” as Celina Stewart, CEO of the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of the United States, points out. He voted for it anyway. And it didn’t matter that, as Stewart added, the SAVE Act “is based on misinformation and fearmongering rather than facts” about imaginary widespread non-citizen voter fraud.

The Bucks County Health Department issued a press release Thursday reporting that a local resident has tested positive for measles after recently traveling to Texas.
