Police on Tuesday warned against planned protests at the official residence of the Deputy President Kithure Kindiki in Karen, Nairobi. Anti-riot police deployed said they will not allow the planned protests. Farmers Party leader Irungu Nyakera had posted the letter on his X account, and according to the letter, they purported to notify the authorities of the planned protests on May 13, 2025. Anti-riot police were deployed on major routes to stop and check any suspicious cars and motorcycles.
