OPINIONFull respect to the losers. Without the phalanx of runners-up, we would never have been treated to the wonders of the Fifa Women’s World Cup. The losers are the beating heart of competition. The desired destiny of the chosen few who persevere through selection, training and injury is standing on the summit.
