Katie Stratman-Imagn Images When the Cincinnati Bengals drafted Dax Hill, they knew he was the kind of guy they wanted to on their team. They just weren’t sure exactly where he fit in. Safety, boundary corner, even in the slot... they tried a bit of everything during Hill’s first three seasons. The results were mixed, and it is clear that Hill still hasn’t come close to his tremendous potential as an elite athlete.

Photo by Dylan Buell/Getty Images The Cincinnati Bengals’ front office is playing hardball with Trey Hendrickson. But they may be tanking their team’s chances of winning games in the process. That talk seems pretty useless at this point, as both Chase and Penei Sewell have thrived in their careers so far.

Speaking with Kay Adams, the insider explained why he thinks Hendrickson stays in Cincinnati: I do think something gets done [with the Bengals]. I think he ends up staying.

Photo by Dylan Buell/Getty Images Just last week, Trey Hendrickson shared his frustration with the Cincinnati Bengals’ front office and head coach Zac Taylor. Now, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reports that the Bengals offered the NFL sack leader $28 million per year, which would be significantly more than his current deal. Here’s what Florio wrote: “Hendrickson is due to make $16 million this year. The Bengals, we’ve heard, have offered roughly $28 million per year.
