Like many skincare enthusiasts who've dived headfirst into the Fountain of Youth, I've done almost everything I can to achieve clear, glowing skin, including chemical peels, microneedling and laser treatments. The downside is that my skin is a hot mess for a few days after a treatment. Redness makes me turn off my video camera for work meetings and slams the breaks on my social life for at least a week. But yesterday's BBL has shrunk, and styles have shifted to the "Topeka tush" with its understated Midwestern aesthetic. "In the Midwest, we do not have near the demand for the larger volume," said Ryan Diederich, MD. "Most patients are looking for a smaller volume BBL." There's no buts about it.

Plastic surgeons say Gen Xers aren't waiting until the "right age" to address facial aging. At an average age of 53, many Gen Xers are starting to see jowls, a fuller lower face and drooping upper eyelids – among other signs of aging – and they're taking action early to restore their youthful looks.
